Trail Blazers’ third draft pick, Scoot Henderson, will be sidelined for the next two weeks due to a bone bruise in his right ankle, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.

The 19-year-old guard, who sprained his ankle on November 1, is set to continue rehabilitation for his return.

Charania reported, “Blazers prized rookie Scoot Henderson is expected to miss two more weeks with a bone bruise in his right ankle, sources tell me. Henderson has dealt with discomfort after spraining the ankle on November 1, the last time the No. 3 overall pick played. He’ll continue to rehab for return.”

This season Henderson is averaging 8.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 28.4 minutes per game.
