Zach LaVine, the guard for the Chicago Bulls, dismissed the notion that the team held a players-only meeting following last week’s season opener.
Contrary to head coach Billy Donovan’s suggestion of a team meeting, LaVine clarified that it was more of a ‘basketball conversation’ among the players.
“We’re having conversations from top to bottom,” LaVine said. “If we don’t want the coaches in there while we are talking, that’s not a team meeting, it’s players talking amongst ourselves. I don’t know if coach got that misunderstood or not.”
