Zach LaVine will remain with the Sacramento Kings after exercising his $48.9 million player option for the 2026-27 season.

By opting into the final year of his contract, the veteran guard is set to stay in Sacramento for at least one more season following his arrival from the Bulls at the 2025 trade deadline.

LaVine was limited by injuries throughout last season, appearing in just 39 games.

Despite the setbacks, he averaged 19.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while shooting an efficient 48 percent from the field and 39 percent from beyond the arc.
