Danny Green expressed disappointment with how the final days of his time with the Sixers unfolded, as reported by Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and TNT.
Despite the disappointment, there is still mutual respect between Green and the team, and the possibility of the veteran swingman returning to the Sixers hasn’t been ruled out.
Green’s contract initially included a $500K partial guarantee for making the opening night roster, but he agreed to a reduced figure of $200K.
Ultimately, he was waived before November 10, preventing the guarantee from increasing to $500K.
