In his first game of the 2023-24 season, Jordan Loyd made an impressive comeback after undergoing lumbar spine surgery in the summer.

He scored 15 points with a remarkable 5-6 shooting record as a starter, contributing to AS Monaco’s 91-76 victory over Gravelines-Dunkerque.

Despite trailing 16-23 in the first quarter, Monaco bounced back to lead 41-38 at halftime and maintained a double-digit advantage throughout the game.

Loyd spent 21 minutes on the court, showcasing his skills and helping Monaco remain the only undefeated team in the French League after nine rounds.

Alpha Diallo had a team-high 16 points for Monaco while Petr Cornelie dropped 12 points.

Vafessa Fofana finished with 19 points, and Tajuan Agee posted 17 points plus six rebounds for Gravelines-Dunkerque, which now has a 5-2 record.
