Amid ongoing trade rumors and uncertainty surrounding his future, NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins has made a bold prediction about the fate of former MVP James Harden.

Perkins, who was previously Harden’s teammate, suggested during an appearance on ESPN’s First Take that Harden could potentially find himself on the brink of leaving the league by next season.

“He’s going to be straddling the fence of actually being out of the league next year,” Perkins said.

Harden’s tumultuous history with team trades, including his recent attempts to secure a move from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Clippers, has left the superstar in a familiar yet precarious situation.

Despite his desire to be traded, Harden currently remains on the Sixers’ roster, potentially facing the challenge of having to play for the team to avoid financial consequences.
