In a recent analysis, former NBA player Chandler Parsons expressed his belief that the era of Ben Simmons as an All-Star has come to a definitive end, citing the player’s current performance trajectory.

Once a three-time All-Star consecutively from 2019 to 2021, the Nets point guard’s recent form has left much to be desired, with a noticeable decline in his on-court impact.

Last season, Simmons struggled, registering career-low averages with 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists in 26.3 minutes per game for Brooklyn.

“He plays scared, I don’t know what happened, or how we got here. I think that he’s playing and he’s healthy, that’s a good start. But the idea that he’s just going to turn into this 20 and 10 All-Star ever again is not possible,” Parsons said on Run It Back.
