Willy Hernangomez delivered his standout performance in the Barcelona jersey, scoring 20 points and securing seven rebounds for a season-high 27 Performance Index Rating (PIR).

Barcelona extended their winning streak to seven games across all competitions by defeating Bilbao with a final score of 91-82, improving their record to 5-1 in the Spanish ACB League.

Hernangomez showcased his prowess with 20 minutes and 11 seconds of playing time, shooting an impressive 8-11 from the field.

By halftime, he had already accumulated 12 points, propelling Barcelona to a 47-39 advantage.

Hernangomez continued to make a significant impact, pushing his team’s lead to 67-51 with 2:40 remaining in the third quarter.

Although Bilbao attempted a comeback, closing the margin to 81-75 with 3:12 left, Barcelona responded with a 10-2 run to regain control of the game.

Adam Smith contributed 20 points, and Melwin Pantzar added 12 points along with five rebounds for Bilbao, which now holds a 4-2 record.

In addition to Hernangomez’s stellar performance, Joel Parra scored 13 points, with eight of them coming in the final period.
