Clippers’ forward Paul George expressed his appreciation for the recent acknowledgment from emerging talents, including Hornets’ No. 2 draft pick Brandon Miller, who referred to George as his GOAT.
Reflecting on the praise and recognition, George emphasized the significance of the recognition, particularly during a career marked by media scrutiny.
He found it rewarding to be considered a role model for young players, viewing it as validation for his dedication and approach to the game.
“It’s just a cool moment in my career for someone that’s been dragged at times in the media… To have some of the top talents with me being their role model, It means a lot to me,” he said, via ClutchPoints.
