Kemba Walker aims to regain focus and enjoy competing in Europe on a personal level. Yet, achieving full recovery from injuries appears to be an impractical goal.

In his first appearance in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague on Wednesday, the 33-year-old contributed with two points, two rebounds, and one assist in a ten-minute play.

AS Monaco, his team, turned the tide with a victory against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet at Stark Arena, bouncing back from an initial 0-2 setback.

“It was great. Amazing crowd, something really special. I am very happy that I was a player of a game in such an environment,” Walker told Serbian outlet Meridian Sport focusing on the crowd in Belgrade.

Persistent knee problems hindered Kemba from contributing to the La Roca team in the earlier stages of the continental campaign. On the domestic front, he is still not listed or registered, as recently revealed by head coach Sasa Obradovic.

“I feel good. I just need to warm up and get into a rhythm. Other than that, being out there was great. I will probably never be at 100% again, but I am fine,” he confessed.
