Pops Mensah Bonsu will not play in NBA next year and he will play for DKV Joventut. With the signing of the English power forward assured, Bracey Wright is close to become the next adding of the Catalonian team.
DKV Joventut announced today that Pops Mensah Bonsu will play for DKV, according to the contract he signed last July-12.
The player had offers from NBA, but he decided to play finally in ACB and Euroleague with the green and black team after paying a visit to the club installation and having a meeting with the Head Coach and several members of the board of directors.
With this signing, Bracey Wrigth is closer to DKV Joventut. His signing was made conditional to Pops' signing because Mensah Bonsu has English passport, so the club has a free import player spot which will likely be filled by Wright.
