Despite missing some players, Panathinaikos made a strong comeback at OAKA, winning 78-71 against Bayern Munich after a previous loss to Olympiacos.

The duo of Mathias Lessort and Luca Vildoza showcased excellent chemistry in the pick-and-roll plays for the Greek team.

Lessort, the French center, played a pivotal role with 16 points and 6 rebounds, while Vildoza, the Argentinian playmaker, contributed 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists with some impressive passes.

Jerian Grant, starting alongside them, improved as the game progressed and finished with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists in the match against the Bavarian team.

“It was important to get the win because we didn’t want to spend other eight hours in the gym,” the former Partizan Belgrade center said.

“We just got to get better every day, tonight was a good night for me. The most important is to get to know each other and be in the best shape at the end of the season.”
