Panathinaikos Athens is set to take on FC Bayern Munich in EuroLeague Round 2 without the experienced guard Kostas Sloukas, according to the team’s official announcement.
Sloukas won’t be playing due to a minor contusion below his left calf, which was identified through an MRI.
As he undergoes treatment, his condition will be evaluated daily. Unfortunately, the 33-year-old is likely to miss the upcoming Greek league match against Peristeri on Sunday.
Additionally, there are uncertainties regarding his availability for the EuroLeague double-week on Oct. 17 against Fenerbahce and Oct. 20 against Maccabi.
