Dwight Howard, the eight-time NBA All-Star, recently sought to make an NBA comeback after a season spent playing in Taiwan.

However, despite his workout with the Warriors, the team ultimately decided to pursue a wing player instead of adding the former Defensive Player of the Year to their roster.

Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time the Warriors had expressed a strong interest in Dwight Howard. NBA insider Marc Stein disclosed on Substack that the Warriors had made a significant effort to sign Howard a decade ago, in the summer of 2013, during the early stages of Joe Lacob’s ownership of the team.
