NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that free agent center Boban Marjanovic is making a return to the Houston Rockets, signing a one-year deal.

This move will mark Marjanovic’s ninth season in the NBA, adding another chapter to his career that has seen him play for various teams, including the Spurs, Pistons, Clippers, Sixers, and Mavericks.

Marjanovic’s journey during the previous season included some twists. On June 24, 2022, he was part of a trade that sent him to the Rockets along with several other players.

However, on February 9, 2023, the Rockets waived Marjanovic as part of a three-team trade. Nevertheless, his tenure with the Rockets wasn’t over, as he was re-signed by the team just days later.

During the 2022-2023 season, the 35-year-old Serbian center made his presence felt in 31 games for the Rockets, averaging 3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in 5.5 minutes per game.
