Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green, selected as the No. 35 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, still vividly remembers every player picked ahead of him during that draft.

Recently, the Golden State Warriors forward shared an interesting insight about how he could have ended up with the Indiana Pacers if not for a twist of fate.

Green revealed, “I worked out for Indiana twice… [They] passed me for Miles Plumlee, but it’s cool… they should blame themselves that you ain’t in Indiana anymore,” during his appearance on Podcast P with Paul George.

While the Pacers had the opportunity to draft Green, who has become a pivotal part of the Warriors’ championship success, their decision to select Plumlee instead is a topic that still resonates with Green.
