The Rockets have signed forward Jeenathan Williams to a one-year deal, as reported by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Williams, who showcased his potential during a brief stint with the Trail Blazers, will now compete for a roster spot in Houston.

After going undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft, Williams did not let that deter his dreams of playing in the league. He joined the Jazz for the 2022 NBA Summer League, displaying his skills and determination on the court. Although he initially signed an exhibit 10 contract with the Jazz, Williams was waived soon after. He then made his way to the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League.

On April 1, 2023, the 24-year-old received an opportunity to showcase his talent in the NBA when he signed with the Trail Blazers.

Despite his potential, Williams was waived by the Trail Blazers in late July. Now, with the Rockets, Williams has a chance to prove his worth and secure a spot on their roster for the upcoming season.
