In 2017, the Dallas Mavericks star guard Luka Doncic helped in capturing the gold medals for the senior national team. He has since competed in the 2020 Olympic Games and 2022 EuroBasket.
“As in every tournament, the goal is to win the championship,” Doncic said. “Last year’s failure in the EuroBasket did not make too angry, but instead motivated me. You must look ahead. We don’t care what happened last year.
“I feel better this year. It is apparent. Much praise to the fitness coach pushing me.”
