Turkish center Kaya Peker (28, 208 cm) returned to Efes Pilsen after a season in Besiktas Cola Turka. He played for Efes from 2000 to 2006 and will add size and toughness to Efes’ frontcourt for at least next two years.
With Peker in lineup Efes won 9 domestic tittles (4 league, 5 cup). He played one year outside the Turkey, in 2006/07 helped TAU Ceramica reach the Final Four.
Last year he averaged 13.2 ppg and 6.6 rpg in the Uleb Cup, where Efes reached Final Eight.
