Barcelona decided to terminate the contract of Alex Acker. He was signed from Olympiacos after Juan Carlos Navarro left the team for Memphis Grizzlies. Though Acker never met the expectations and averaged just 6.7 point per game in Spanish league. In Euroleague he was scoring 5.5 points per game.
Acker suffered a foot injury and was out for the first half of the season. Even though his stats have improved in Spanish playoffs to 12.6 points per game, the club decided that he shouldn't be in the team next season.
