Here’s Orlando Magic senior advisor John Hammond telling a funny story about being stuck with driving a pickup truck while down south.

Amin Elhassan: “Do you have any funny stories from your life on the road that jump out at you?”
Hammond: “It’s a lot of sometimes smaller college towns, smaller hotels. Flying into Tulsa, Oklahoma and driving down to Fayetteville, Arkansas to watch Arkansas play. And when I get to Tulsa, they have nothing but pickup trucks. And I’m like, ‘I’m not driving a pickup truck.’ But I had to. So I drove and I got like 30 miles in my pickup truck and said, ‘I can’t do this.’ So I mean all kinds of crazy things.”
Amin Elhassan: “Did you turn around?”
Hammond: “I did. Yeah. And sure enough, they had a couple cars by that point. But, yeah.”
