Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups was recently asked by ESPN’s John Schriffen about what he’s learned/how his coaching style has evolved since taking over in 2021.

(via Portland Trail Blazers):

“I’ve learned so much, man. I’ve only been obviously head coach 2 years, but it’s been a heck of a 2 years. It’s been a lot of ups, a lot of downs, a lot of influx, but I’ve learned so much along the way and I’ve been lucky to have great players that buy into what I’m trying to do and what I believe in. I see the game the same way I played the game, and that’s unselfishly on both ends of the floor, playing together, being vocal, talking, being very very highly competitive. And so for me, I just try to teach that. No matter who’s on the floor, they know my intention at all times.”
