The father of Jordan Poole won’t come with no urgent defense to deflect the recent justification made by Draymond Green with regards to the sucker punching he delivered against the former Golden State Warriors guard.
Replying to the teaser video of the upcoming episode of Pat Bev Pod that flashes Green’s personal explanation towards the event, an upset Anthony Poole hurled explicit words directed at the veteran big man.
The reasoning made by Green continues to absorb mixed perception within the league’s fandom circles, most especially at the side of the Dub Nation.
As such, the fuming reaction of Poole’s father can’t be blamed on given that the All-Star still proceeded to be vocal and unnecessarily dig the controversial event which took place from last year.
This recent excuse by Green just negates his initial apologetic approach and remorse towards Poole following their altercation. And the way he further elaborated it on the teaser video of Patrick Beverley’s podcast may only verify that his embattled sentiment on the two-guard is still alive and ignited.
Golden State already severed their connection with Poole, and the talented guard certainly accepted the separation that happened as he is ready for a new chapter in the Washington Wizard and dump the heavy baggage — specifically the Green fracas — on the Bay Area.
But Green’s statement only revives the dramatic chatter surrounding both him and Poole. In what could have been executing a preferably quiet and respectful parting of ways, the statement of the veteran may only serve as a fuel to a much even fiery, negative implications for both sides — and including the Warriors franchise.
