Despite the fact that Jordan Poole is now out of the Bay Area and set to start new beginnings in D.C., many fans continue to dig up drama and hurl it into his infamous fiasco last year with Draymond Green.

And now, speculations are about to get intense anew as the star forward further shed light on what happened between them.

In the teaser of the latest episode of Pat Bev Pod wherein Green served as the guest, the Golden State Warriors veteran explained further his shady, subjective points on the sucker-punching he did against Poole.

“I don’t just hit people. Dialogue of course happens over time and you usually ain’t triggered by just something that fast. You know, to that degree, like this is a team. Ain’t nobody on my team triggering me in an instant. We know stuff you don’t say amongst men. We know things that you have to stand on,” Green said.

This justification aired by Green may be connected to a report earlier this month which does suggest that several established guys within the Warriors have a particular internal issue with Poole. Nevertheless, what Green dropped is considerably significant and a subject of discourse.

From amassing hype, recognition, and praise for going back to the top of the NBA and reviving their lost glory last year, the Dubs were suddenly rocked by the incident starring both Green and Poole which happened during a team practice. Video footage of the event was even publicized, which ultimately absorbed further controversy at the camp of the franchise and prompted the forward to take a needed apology and hiatus.

The controversial occurrence, without a doubt, served as a magnet of distraction for them throughout their 2022-23 campaign, which ended up with a painful conclusion of a failed title defense. And while both Green and Poole managed to work things out as teammates, there is still undeniable embattled regard being shared between them off the court.

All of these boiling perspectives, added by the fact that Poole went unreliable throughout the postseason and the franchise needed to commit to their dynastic core, just resulted in the talented guard packing his bags and leaving San Francisco via trade.

Poole tried to leave his unwanted baggage in Golden State as he will now represent the Washington Wizards moving forward, but we are yet to see what would be his personal reaction to this unnecessary revelation made by Green about their altercation.
