Jordan Poole is ready to move on now from the Golden State Warriors and start a new chapter with the Washington Wizards.

And this can only be highlighted in his recent cryptic answer when he was asked about his fiasco with Draymond Green last year.

Fresh from their title run, things already went sour at the Dubs camp when both Green and Poole were engaged in a highly controversial scuffle with the former landing a sucker punch during a heated practice. Eventually, the dramatic atmosphere of the said issue prevailed throughout Golden State’s 2022-23 campaign even though both players have mended their fences.

Poole is coming off a career year wherein he averaged 20.4 points and 4.5 assists in 82 games for Golden State, but he became unreliable in the team’s championship defense in the postseason time as his points (10.3) and efficiency (34.1%) have dipped.

Besides his underwhelming showing, Poole’s massive four-year deal worth $140MM may have ultimately triggered the Dubs to cut their ties with them and pick the maximization of their current dynastic core around Stephen Curry.

Now, it is safe to say that Poole is choosing silence over anything as his exit in the Bay Area is finally closed. He joins the D.C. club as their newest scoring flamethrower paired with Kyle Kuzma.
