Omer Yurtseven will join the Utah Jazz in a reported two-year deal. Per Bobby Marks of ESPN, the starting salary of the new contract of the big man is at $2.8MM value.
Yurtseven officially leaves the Miami Heat after two years of stay in South Beach. The club opted to decline handing a qualifying offer to him, thus making him an unrestricted free agent this summer.
The Turkish big man appeared in 65 total games throughout his career and averaged 5.2 points and 4.9 boards in 53.3 percent shooting mark.
The Jazz notably failed to gain Paul Reed after they handed an offer sheet to the restricted free agent big man. The Philadelphia 76ers went on to match their three-year, $23MM contract proposal.
