It will be year 19 in the NBA for Chris Paul next season. So far the 38-year-old future Hall of Famer has started in all 1,214 regular season games that he has played in the league.

His new team, the Warriors, have Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in the backcourt which could mean that Paul will be coming off the bench for the first time in his career. He was asked about such possibility during his introductory press conference.

“You coaching?” CP3 responded to the journalist. “I don’t know what the situation is going to be yet. I think that’ll be for us to figure out once we get going.”

Another journalist followed up with a similar question. “Like I said, it’ll be a conversation for us when camp starts or whatnot,” Paul said. “But me and Steve [Kerr] have talked or whatnot, but you that ain’t something you’d be like ‘What up man, whether you’re starting or coming up…’ You know what I mean? I think we’ll figure out that stuff out in camp.”

Last season Paul averaged 13.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists in 32 minutes per game for the Suns.
