Zalgiris Kaunas bolstered its frontcourt by inking big man Brock Motum to a one-year deal on Tuesday. Zalgiris keeps an option to extend his contract until the end of the 2016-17 season. Motum (2.08 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Adelaide 36ers, where he averaged 17.5 points on 46.9% three-point shooting and 7.1 rebounds in 24 Australian League games last season. He has also played for Granarolo Bologna of Italy since finishing his college career at Washington State University (NCAA). Motum has also been a member of the Australian national team. “I come to a realy good team, the Lithuanian champion, which plays in the Euroleague,” Motum said. “I only heard great words about Zalgiris fans. I am looking forward to the moment when I can feel their support.”
