Dwight Howard has not closed the door on the NBA yet. The 8-time NBA All-Star, who is currently with the Taiwanese side the Taoyuan Leopards, would like to get another opportunity to compete for a championship.
The 37-year-old center won the title in 2020 with the Lakers and would like to help the Kings win their firs-ever championship.
“I’m not retired from the NBA just yet,” Howard told The OBSERVER. “I would love to help the Sacramento Kings contend for a title. Even though I believe their team is pretty much set.”
This season Sacramento finished third in the Western Conference but was eliminated by the Warriors in the first round.
