Brent Petway has completed his move to Italian side Dinamo Sassari from Olympiacos.

The 30-year-old forward, who had been linked with a move to Italy has penned a one-year deal with the Serie A champions.

Petway spent the last two seasons with Greek powerhouse Olympiacos, winning the domestic league title, as well as collecting individual accolades, such as the slam dunk crown and All-Star Game MVP, both in 2013.

He averaged 5.9 points and 3.6 rebounds in his two seasons with the Piraeus outfit.

The former Michigan Wolverine has enjoyed a stellar professional career, with spells in France and of course Greece. Petway began his post-college life with the Idaho Stampede, where he won the inaugural D-League dunk contest.

And under the nickname of Thunder Petway, he spent a year touring the world with the Harlem Globetrotters.
