Nuggets head coach Michael Malone compared Nikola Jokic to Tim Duncan for being a very unselfish star. The Serbian center was asked if he himself wanted to model his game after the Spurs legend.

“I model my game [after Tim Duncan] probably, yes,” Jokic said. “Probably he’s one of the best power forwards that played the game. And he did it with such an ease. I remember when he played against me. He was a little bit older but he still gave me the easiest 20 points I’ve ever had in my life probably. He was so patient I think he’s a great player to look up to and to model your game after him.”

Jokic is averaging a triple-double of 29.9 points, 13.3 rebounds and 10.3 assists in 38.9 minutes per game in this year’s playoffs.
