The Nuggets are through to the Western Conference Finals after crushing the Suns in Game 6 (125-100). Nikola Jokic led his team to the victory with a triple-double of 32 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.

After the game Kevin Durant was asked if he learned anything new about the Serbian superstar having played his first series against him.

“Nah, I always had respect,” KD said. “I always knew how great he was. l’m aways watching these guys. All the great players in the league. Not surprised that these guys are good, especially somebody like Jokic. I’ve been watching him, playing against him for a minute now since he hit his peak as a player. I won’t say I learned anything new.

“Great team, deep team, multiple guys that player well together, great continuity. Been together for how long Michael Malone been there? Six years. That’s a good advantage to have when you know your coach, you know the players on the team, you got a system in place for that long.

“So, no I wasn’t surprised at all. Jokic is an all-time great. Going to go down as one of the all-time great centers that ever touched a basketball. So he went out there and did what he’s supposed to do.”
