If nothing gets wrong, Will Solomon (29, 1.85) will be Maccabi’s next PG. Solomon and Maccabi agreed terms last night and the only thing that stands between Solomon’s signature on the contract is Fenerbahce/Ulker who already released him, but yet to achieve agreement on buy-out or compensation due to breaking their relationship.
If Solomon will sign in Maccabi, it will be his second term in Maccabi after 2005/06 season which end with an easy double in Israel and the final in the Euroleague.
Solomon is considered as a winner and in all his six seasons in Europe he achieved at least one title.
To close their preparations for the upcomming season, Maccabi is trying to find a center, big name as possible, and one more Israeli player, Guy Pnini or Yaniv Green.
