Kevin Love is at a point of his career when thoughts about what he will do when he retires start to come.

The 2016 NBA champion says he would be interested in remaining involved in basketball, but not as a coach.

A front office position would suit Love much better.

“That’s … that’s a tough one,” Love says when asked about his plans after his playing career. Perhaps a role in an NBA front office? “Building culture and putting a special group together to win is something that I’d love to do,” Love says. What about coaching? “I don’t think I’m made for coaching,” he says.

Love averaged 7.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 20 minutes over 20 regular season games for Miami.
