The Lakers advanced to the playoffs via the play-in tournament and will face the Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs. Los Angeles won the regular season series 2-1.
Sports analyst Chris Broussard was unimpressed by the Lakers’ overtime win against the Timberwolves in the play-in tournament. He thinks that Memphis will win the series.
“They should be relieved they’re not playing for the 8-seed. …” Broussard said on First Things First. “I know they’ve won 7-of-9. The Lakers are not as good as advertised. I’m picking the Grizzlies in Rd 1.”
