As the regular season draws to an end, the Warriors are still missing Andrew Wiggins who has been out for 20 games now due to personal reasons.

Steph Curry was asked about the situation of his teammate after the win against the Pelicans. The superstar said that the team is waiting for Wiggins to return.

“We’d love to have him and hope that that does happen because we want to be whole and I’m sure he wants to be a part of this,” Curry said. “But when he walks through the door is when it’ll be the right time. That’s kind of the expectation at this point.”

The four-time NBA champion was then asked if he is talking to Wiggins. “Not that consistently, no. More space,” he said.

This season Wiggins is averaging 17.1 points, 5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 32.2 minutes per game.
