The Clippers (38-35) missed the chance to narrow the gap between them and the Suns (38-33) as they lost against the Thunder (100-101).

Kawhi Leonard (21 points) was the only player for Los Angeles who scored at least 20 points. Four of the Clippers starters finished with double-digit scoring though.

According to the Clippers’ head coach Tyronn Lue, his team did not play their brand of basketball which is why they lost.

“A leanring experience for us,” Lue said after the game. “But I just didn’t think we played right the whole night offensively. We played too slow, we didn’t share the basketball the right way.

“I know our coaches said we got some open threes we didn’t make. But just the flow of the game was nasty because we didn’t play the right way and we were playing slow. We didn’t move the basketball. We didn’t get to the second side. We don’t play a good brand of basketball, these are the results you get.”
