D’Angelo Russell had his best game since joining the Lakers as he dropped 28 points, along with 5 rebounds and 9 assists, helping his team defeat the Raptors (122-112).

Sixteen of those point came in the fourth quarter when the Purple and Gold needed them the most with Toronto having a five-point lead before the final period.

The 27-year-old point guard said after the game he wants to bring back positive energy to the Lakers.

“I just want to bring that fun back to this organization, bring that laughing factor, bring all of that, and let it translate on the floor,” Russell said after the game.

This season Russell is averaging 17.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists in 32.4 minutes per game.
