The Los Angeles Lakers backup center Mohamed Bamba has sustained a high left ankle sprain and will be re-evaluated in about four weeks, the team announced.

“Mo Bamba has been evaluated by Lakers team doctors and has been diagnosed with a high left ankle sprain. He will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.”

Bamba has averaged 4.4 PPG and 5.3 RPG in seven games (11.6 MPG) with the Lakers.
