The Philadelphia 76ers All-Star big man Joel Embiid spoke to reporters after Philly’s shocking loss to the Boston Celtics. Jayson Tatum made a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1.3 seconds left to put Boston on top.
Joel Embiid then made a desperation full-court shot in an attempt to tie but time had expired. Boston held on for a 110-107 win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night,
“I don’t care,” Embiid said when asked if it was almost worse that his shot went in late, via ESPN. “It didn’t count. But I guess it’s a good highlight for everybody, social media and all that stuff.
“But it didn’t count, and we lost the game. It’s frustrating losing these types of games, especially when you’re winning by so much. It’s frustrating.”
