Malik Beasley scored team-high 25 points as the Lakers defeated the Warriors at home. The 26-year-old shooting guard knocked down seven three-pointers, providing a huge boost for Los Angeles.

For Lakers head coach Darvin Ham it was good to finally see his own player score three-pointers as opposed to seeing his opponents do that.

“Malik just his ability to stretch the floor and make threes consistently. It’s a huge huge weapon,” Ham said. “It provides a lot of space for the guys to attack the paint and also he gives us another weapon that another team has to gameplan for. It’s great having him out there and seeing a ton of threes being made on your behalf instead of being made against you.”

Beasley is averaging 12.3 points over four games for the Lakers.
