As reported previously, Russell Westbrook is taking his time to assess his options before decided on where to continue his career.

The former NBA MVP who was traded to the Jazz by the Lakers before the trade deadline is choosing between staying in Utah and likely getting little playing time or agreeing to a buyout and signing elsewhere.

The Clippers are reportedly one of the potential suitors for Westbrook with Paul George publicly expressing support for his former Oklahoma City teammate.

According to Law Murray of The Athletic, both Clippers stars – George and Kawhi Leonard – will meet Russ to discuss potentially joining forces.

Westbrook has averaged 15.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 7.5 assists in 28.7 minutes per game for the Lakers this season.
