NBA legend Charles Barkley is not convinced that the Clippers can go all the way this season. Since bringing Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the team was considered a contender every season but has not delivered a title yet.
Barkley does not think that this season is any different. “I’ll you what’s going to be interesting this Clippers team in the playoffs,” he said. “They can win it, or they could lose the first round. They are talented, they’re deep, they play great defense.
“The Western Conference is going to be crazy. I cannot wait until the playoffs start. Like I said, this Clippers team, I picked them to win the West but they are, they have a different personality. Dr. Phil would have a field day with this team.”
The Clippers are currently fourth in the Western Conference with 33 wins and 28 losses. Reportedly, they are interested in Russell Westbrook who could agree to a buyout with the Jazz.
