The Dallas Mavericks have made all their players available for trade with the exception of Luka Doncic, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News. The club, upon activation of these assets, is in hopes to land a star player.

Added by Caplan, Dorian Finney-Smith has been gaining interest around the league, but the Mavs have countered with their own offers that don’t involve the wingman. But with the trade deadline set for next week, the hesitancy of the team to throw the veteran away is likely to flip aside.

The Mavericks are filled with role players, but a legitimate star player to pair alongside Doncic has been the missing piece that they do covet and heavily consider from the previous years.

As such, a potential deal to land one could be challenging, as Dallas has been lacking future assets that will entice and influence teams for a transaction.

Sitting at a shaky position in the Western Conference, the Mavs are currently seventh with a 26-25 record.
