Last month it was reported that the Lakers could be interested in Gary Trent Jr. According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the 24-year-old shooting guard remains on the radar of the Purple and Gold.
“So I have been told that Gary Trent Jr is at least like on the Lakers’ radar,” Fisher said on Please Don’t Aggregate This podcast, per HoopsHype. “I don’t know if they’ve called Toronto and have had actual conversations about it.”
This season Trent is averaging 18.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 33.2 minutes per game. It is his fifth year in the NBA.
