The NBA announced Thursday the official starters from the Western and Eastern Conference of the 2023 NBA All-Star Game.

For the sixth-straight year, LeBron James is set to become a team captain upon garnering the most votes out of the Western Conference players this season. Fellow starters include Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic and Zion Williamson.

Meanwhile, out of the East as the Conference’s leader in votes, Giannis Antetokounmpo is also a team captain and will be joined by Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Kyrie Irving and Donovan Mitchell as starters.

Meanwhile, All-Star reserves are yet to be announced by the league as of the moment.

As he is set to appear for another All-Star match, James has tied Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in most appearances made in the All-Star game with 19. He is also just 157 points away from surpassing the legendary big man in the NBA’s all-time scoring leaderboard.

The 2023 NBA All-Star Game Drafting will take place right before the official game on Sunday, Feb. 19, in Salt Lake City. Captains James and Antetokounmpo will have the authority to pick their respective teammates moments prior to tip-off.
