Following his spectacular night in a 119-114 home win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets youngster Jalen Green said that he wants to become one of the best players in the NBA (42 points/4 rebounds/4 assists/1 steal/1 block/15-25 FG/6-12 3-PT/6-10 FT).

Reporter: “You’re the second player ever, 20 or younger, to score 40 plus twice in a three-game span. The only other guy to do it is Luka. What does that say about you, your game, and what you think you can be at the NBA level?”

Green: “Well, the goals for myself, I’m trying to be one of the best players in the NBA. I know I’m young right now, it’s only my second season, but at the end of the day, it’s all built on growth and learning the game and understanding. And I’m here for all that. I’m trying to be coached, learn as much as I can, so that way that path to greatness is putting me in something I can understand and be a little bit easier.”
