The Boston Celtics interim head coach Joe Mazzulla was interviewed following the Celtics’ 113-98 loss to the Orlando Magic on Monday night. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown scored 26 points apiece for Boston. Paolo Banchero led Orlando with 23 points.

The Magic snapped Boston’s 9-game win streak, their longest of the season, and Orlando become the first team to win their season series against the Celtics. Boston will have a quick turnaround, and face the Miami Heat tomorrow night in the second leg of a back-to-back.

“I think it says more about Orlando and how they played tonight,” Mazzulla said on the Magic, via ESPN. “They were physical, they had an edge about them and I thought they played really well.”

On Jayson Tatum abruptly leaving the game in the 3rd quarter, the head coach said he wasn’t sure as to why Tatum left.
