The 76ers could move either Furkan Korkmaz or Jaden Springer ahead of the trade deadline, according to Marc Stein. The purpose of such trade would for Philadelphia to cut its luxury tax.

For Korkmaz this is his sixth year with the Sixers. He is averaging the lowest numbers since his rookie year – 4 points, 1.2 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game.

The Turkish shooting guard has one more year left on his contract. This season he is set to earn $5 million. Next year his salary will go up to $5.3 million.

Springer is in his sophomore year and is playing a very limited for for the 76ers. The 20-year-old guard has appeared in just 6 games this season, averaging 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in 4 minutes per game. He is earning $2 million per season.
