Warriors superstar Steph Curry could rest for a large part of the game as his team dominated the Spurs in Alamodome in front of 68,323 fans. Golden State won the game convincingly (144-113).

Curry contributed 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 23 minutes of play. After the game he talked about the experience of playing in Alamodome.

“The long walk from the tunnel to get out to the court, the fans kind of line in the route to get out there. And then just the vantage point,” the four-time NBA champion said.

“We came for practice yesterday and you can feel how big the Dome is and there’s excitement about what it would feel like with that many people in it delivered. It was awesome from the start.

“It was cool to see them recognize their 5-year history and all the great moments that have gone into this organization, successes and championships that they’re had, the greats that were in the building – David Robinson, Manu, Tony Parker, Avery Johnson. It was awesome to experience. And you take 64,000 to bring our best road performance of the year.”
